Our History

 

 

December 2002 - Debut awarded Phase 1 of the Project SLAM (Single Living Accommodation Modernisation) contract by Defence Estates.  The contract commenced in April 2003 for a 5 year period.  Project SLAM is the Functional Prime Contract for the delivery of 15,000 single occupancy en suite bed spaces for MoD armed forces’ personnel, across England and Wales.

 

 

March 2004 - Debut awarded Regional Prime Contract South West. The contract covers estate management services for almost 200 sites and encompasses some 9,000 assets in the South West region. The seven-year contract includes a framework arrangement for the project management of a long-term and varied capital construction programme and the provision of facilities management services across a broad property portfolio including airfields and training establishments.

 

 

 

December 2007 - Debut commenced delivery of the BB TFM (Bristol Bath Total Facility Management) project, a £50m organic growth development of the Regional Prime Contract South West.  It is the first time an extensive soft services (domestic) contract has been incorporated in to a the Regional Prime Contract and highlights Debut’s success within this area.

 

January 2008 - Debut commenced delivery of Phase II of Project SLAM and will deliver a minimum of 7,000 much needed single living bed paces for the UK’s servicemen and women, which are maintained with a seven year compliance period.
 

July 2008 - Vice Admiral Tim Laurence, the Chief Executive of Defence Estates, opened the 10,000th bed space to be built under the project since it began in 2002.
